Water Transfer Printing

What is that?

The Water Transfer Printing or Dip Printing is a particular process of three-dimensional decoration which can be applied on the surfaces of various materials such as plastics, wood, ceramics, metals and alloys, and which allows a perfect finish and aesthetically pleasing for any form. The decorations can be made an extensive range of finishes ranging from wood grain and marble reproduction fabrics, on technical grounds in bright patterns with the possibility of creating design solutions tailored to customer requirements.

As we develop machining?

The working process can be summarized in a few key stages:

  • The desired decoration is printed on a water soluble film.
  • The film is deposited on the surface of a tank of heated water that makes plastic and gelatinous.
  • The artefact to be decorated (suitably pretreated) is immersed in the bath and, due to the thrust of the water that acts as a press enveloping, undergoes the transfer of the film which adheres perfettemente without seams.
  • The article is then washed and dried using industrial processes.
  • Finally, the decor is fixed with a coating of clear coating that provides a glossy surface, durable and pleasant to the touch.

Decal application

Decals are decorations that can be applied on various types of surfaces such as carbon, aluminum, plastic or glass, the transfer of which takes place by immersion in water of the sheet in which they are printed. They can be applied under a transparent layer or directly on the finished surface of the product. It is a high quality product, whose characteristics allow an excellent rendering of even the smallest details.
